The turret is accented by a second, miniature gable in its roof, topped by a weather vane of a graceful angel in flight. The original hanging, wrought iron porch light is still intact. The front courtyard is enclosed by a border of river rock and a rustic, picket fence, stained to match the trim of the house. The deeply inset windows retain their original leaded glass.
